The Multiphysics Systems Design Laboratory (MSDL) at Jeonbuk National University is seeking a dedicated postdoctoral researcher to contribute to our pioneering work in medical and biomedical artificial intelligence.
🔬 1. Research Focus Areas
We are looking for candidates interested in advancing research within the following domains:
🏥 Medical AI: Diagnostic and analytical AI for medical imaging.
🫀 Biosignal Processing: Predictive AI models for ECG and other clinical biosignals.
👶 Clinical Data: AI applications focused on Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and real-world clinical datasets.
🤖 Foundation Models: Development of multimodal medical AI and large-scale foundation models (cancer prognosis, ...).
🔍 XAI: Explainable AI systems for robust clinical decision support.
🧑💼 2. Position Overview
- Role: Postdoctoral Researcher (1 opening)
- Eligibility: Must hold (or be nearing completion of) a Ph.D. degree.
- Preferred Qualifications:
+ Strong proficiency in state-of-the-art deep learning architectures.
+ Proven experience in medical image analysis or biosignal processing.
💰 3. Compensation & Benefits
- Annual Salary: KRW 48,750,000 (includes severance pay).
*** Note: Excludes employer’s contribution to the four major social insurances.
- Incentives: Performance-based bonuses may be available based on research output.
